A bit about Studio Schroeder
Studio Schroeder is a strategic consultancy founded by me, Anna Schroeder, and based in Berlin and London.
I help arts, creative and social enterprises to grow income, build audiences and expand reach.
Working as consultant, alone or as part of an existing in-house team, I create public awareness, audience and fundraising campaigns, broker content, distribution and investment partnerships and deliver public programs and projects.
Past clients and employers range from international broadcasters, renowed museums, archives and collections, top tourist attractions and city developers to creative agencies and social enterprises. See Clients.
I love working for ambitious, mission-led and innovation focused businesses across arts, science and culture - please do get in touch!
A bit about me
I am skilled at delivering complex projects across programming, audience development, press and communication, defining the central story for major fundraising campaigns and advancing core income for cultural organisations.
I worked for over fifteen years in the arts and culture sectors, across business, museums and art galleries, national charities, social enterprise, broadcast journalism and the media.
I started my career as a music promo producer for EMI Classics and award-winning filmmaker and broadcast journalist specialising in programming about arts and culture, before moving to BBC News and Current Affairs as an in-house producer in 2004.
From 2007 to 2009 I was Touring Exhibitions Manager for Damien Hirst at White Cube, working with internationally renowned museums such as the Rijksmuseum, before becoming Head of Special Projects, Development at the Science Museum in 2010, securing multi-million pound investments for the Group.
Whilst working at the Science Museum, I brought in Google as a major financial supporter and creative partner, securing the then largest donation ever given to a Museum and working on joint Google/Science Museum audience initiatives such as Web Lab.
Before launching Studio Schroeder in early 2015, I was Head of Creative Production at Media Space, a new photography gallery at the Science Museum where I was responsible for delivering an annual programme of exhibitions, artist commissions, live events, creative partnerships, films, publications, funding and corporate sponsorship.
In 2013 I was selected for the Clore Leadership course for developing emerging leaders in the cultural sector.
